Hunter 3D Wheel Alignment
The car pulls slightly to one side on a flat road, or the front tyres are wearing unevenly on the inside edge, or you've just had suspension work done and want it set up properly rather than eyeballed.
We run a Hunter four-wheel laser alignment rig, which measures actual chassis geometry rather than a rough two-wheel tracking gauge. You get a printed before-and-after readout, so you can see exactly what was out and what it was corrected to.
What The Job Involves
Full four-wheel geometry, not just front tracking
Camber, caster and toe are measured on all four wheels, and the thrust angle is checked so the rear axle is square to the front, not just the fronts pointing the right way.
Printed readout, before and after
You get to see exactly what was measured before adjustment and what it was set to, on paper. Nothing about this is a guess with a tape measure.
Set to fast-road or manufacturer spec, your choice
Standard road cars are set to manufacturer geometry. For cars on coilovers or set up for track use, we can align to a fast-road or track-focused setting instead.
Why Have GCS Do It
- Hunter HawkEye laser alignment, not a basic two-wheel gauge.
- A printed before-and-after readout with every alignment.
- Direct experience setting up track-prepared Porsches as well as everyday family cars.
Questions We Get Asked
Do I need an alignment after fitting new tyres?
Not automatically, but it is worth checking if the old tyres wore unevenly, since that is usually a sign the geometry was already out.
Can you align a car on coilovers or lowered suspension?
Yes, and we can set it to fast-road or track geometry rather than the standard manufacturer figures if that suits how the car is used.
